Rope and Pulley Roll-up Hurricane Screens/_uploaded_files/1x1.gif

The Force12 rope and pulley hurricane screen is ideal for protecting porches, lanais and walkways from wind, rain and flying debris. When not in use, it rolls up via rope and pulley to store unobtrusively on the inside of the porch or lanai roof line. Rope and pulley hurricane screens are translucent and allow unobstructed views when rolled down.

The rope and pulley hurricane screen is manufactured using 100% polypropylene fabric and extremely strong webbing belt loops and straps at the top and bottom to secure fasteners to the screen. When the screen is tensioned by adjusting the straps, it can withstand impacts that could shatter a concrete wall.

Installation of the screens can be by direct mount or patented C-track. If needed, the bottom edge can be installed using earth anchors.

Benefits of rope and pulley roll-up hurricane screens:

  • Guard against hurricane force wind and driving rain
  • Meet stringent building codes, qualifying for insurance discounts
  • Ideal for protecting larger areas such as porches, lanais and walkways
  • Adjustable straps allow you to securely fasten and tension the screen
  • When hurricanes don't threaten, can be adjusted to provide partial sun/wind protection and privacy
  • High quality corrosion resistant marine stainless pulleys and hardware
  • Aluminum bottom role tube allows the screen to roll up easily and is wear resistant in deployed position
  • Can be easily stored in the rolled up position for immediate deployment

Testimonial from a customer:

'As the property manager for a large, multi-million dollar estate, I was faced with the challenge not only of protecting this very valuable home and its contents from hurricanes but also with the daily requirement for protection against afternoon tropical thunderstorms. The Force12 hurricane screen rope and pulley solution perfectly met the requirement for both beauty and ease of use every day. When the screens are deployed for the afternoon storms, ventilation and the gorgeous views of the bays and mountains are preserved.'
